This is part two in the String Theory series. Having finished her melody on the violin, the girl beholds her creation. The scene is also from a dream I had, standing at the edge of the world watching the planets orbit around me in full colour, so close I could almost touch them.
Original is acrylic on wood panel, 24x24 inches.

A little more about the painting:
There are about 6 constellations painted in the backgrounds, can you find them? They are not exactly in the places they are supposed to be but I tried to be as accurate as the painting would allow.
The eye of Jupiter has a yin yang symbol for a pupil.
The girl is wearing my favourite Roots hoodie, you can see the maple leaf on the back.
The girl has just finished a cup of Tim Horton's coffee, and the empty cup lays on the ground.
Some of the paint was highly reflective so the painting did not photograph well. Does anyone know a professional art photographer in the Hamilton, Ontario area?

The speckling on the moon(?) is gorgeous, and I just can't get over the eye on Jupiter. I love not only the idea, but the colors you used to render it!
